What to Expect at Your First Mobile Lash Appointment

Most first-time nerves come from not knowing the logistics. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

What do I need to have ready?

A clear space roughly six by six feet - a living room or bedroom floor is fine - with an outlet nearby. First-time clients get a complimentary use of the artist's massage table; after that, clients provide a table with enough clearance beneath the headrest. That requirement exists because working at the wrong height for two hours is how bad sets happen.

How should I prepare?

How long does it take?

A full set runs roughly two hours; a fill is shorter. Add fifteen minutes on either end for setup and breakdown. If you are more than fifteen minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the full fee still applies - not as a penalty, but because the next client's window is already spoken for.

What actually happens during it?

A short consultation about the look you want and a check of your natural lashes, then your lower lashes are taped down and your eyes stay closed for the rest. Extensions are isolated and applied one at a time. Most people fall asleep. That is normal and it is the most common thing clients mention afterward.

Does it hurt?

No. You should feel nothing at all. If you feel stinging, burning, or anything sharp, say so immediately - that is information the artist needs in the moment, not afterward.

What happens in the first 24 hours?

The adhesive keeps curing after the appointment ends. Keep the lashes completely dry for 24 hours - no shower steam, no workout, no sauna, no crying at anything. This one rule does more for retention than everything else combined.

What if something feels wrong afterward?

Any discomfort or reaction within 72 hours, reach out immediately - removal is complimentary inside that window. Do not remove them yourself and do not have another provider do it; improper removal can permanently damage your natural lashes.

What about deposits and cancellations?

A $100 deposit secures the booking. There is a 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling window; inside 48 hours the deposit is non-refundable, and no-shows are charged the full service. Zelle, Venmo, or cash avoids the card processing surcharge.
