Classic vs Hybrid vs Volume Lash Extensions: Which Set Is Right for You?

Three names, three very different results. Most people book the wrong one the first time because the words do not describe the look.

What are classic lash extensions?

One extension applied to one natural lash. The result reads as your own lashes, longer and darker - the mascara look, without mascara. Classic suits people who already have decent natural lash density and want definition rather than volume.

What are volume lash extensions?

Multiple ultra-fine extensions fanned onto a single natural lash. Because the individual lashes are far lighter, you can add several without weighing anything down. The result is fuller, darker, and softer at the edges. Volume suits sparse natural lashes, and it photographs better under event lighting.

What are hybrid lash extensions?

A mix of classic and volume in the same set. You get the texture and definition of classic with the fullness of volume, which reads as more natural than a full volume set but fuller than classic. It is the most requested style for a reason - it is the middle setting.

Which one is right for me?

Do my natural lashes limit what I can get?

They set the ceiling, yes. Extension length and weight have to be supported by the natural lash they sit on. A good artist will tell you when the set you asked for would damage what you have, and offer the closest safe version. If nobody has ever told you that, be skeptical.

Does the style change the price?

No. Classic, hybrid, volume, and wet look are all priced the same - $350 to $450 for a full set depending on travel distance. Choose on the look you want, not on cost.

What if I have sensitive eyes?

Lynk-Gel LED extensions are a hypoallergenic alternative for clients who react to traditional adhesive. If you have had a reaction before, say so at booking rather than at the appointment.
